Alabang, Muntinlupa City – February 14, 2025 – My Hub Cares (MHC) proudly announces the opening of its third sexual health clinic, strategically located in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Officially certified by the Department of Health (DOH) as a Primary HIV Care facility, the new clinic provides world-class services for all aspects of sexual health, including awareness, testing and counselling, treatment, and holistic care.
The grand opening, held on Valentine’s Day, was attended by Dr, Louie Ocampo, the Philippine Country Director of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV and AIDS (UNAIDS); Dr. Loyd Brendan P. Norella, HIV Program Manager, Global Fund - PSFI PROTECTS; Dr. Amelia Medina, TB-HIV Adviser, Department of Health; Dr. Aurora Ferrer, HIV Coordinator and Dr. Leonor Tubon, TB Coordinator, City Health Office of Muntinlupa; Dr. Rocylene Roque, HIV Coordinator, City Health Office of Pasig; and Mr. Ico Johnson, Vice President of My Hub Cares and President of Project Red Ribbon Care Management Foundation, Inc. This milestone underscores MHC’s continued mission to ensure equal access to care, especially amid challenges posed by reduced foreign aid in the healthcare sector.
“With the opening of our Alabang clinic, we are making high-quality sexual health services more accessible to communities in the southern areas of Metro Manila and nearby provinces, including Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, and Quezon,” said Dr, Joan Carlota Ranieses, the Chief of Clinics of My Hub Cares. “Every individual deserves compassionate and comprehensive healthcare, regardless of their financial situation, and this expansion reaffirms our unwavering commitment to that principle.”
The clinic is strategically located at Unit 718, Civic Prime Building (Orange Building), Civic Drive, Filinvest, Alabang—just in front of Festival Mall—ensuring ease of access for those seeking sexual health services. MHC continues to prioritize the needs of its clients by maximizing available benefits under PhilHealth and DOH-supported care programs.
“Our mission goes beyond medical treatment,” said Ico Johnson, Vice President of My Hub Cares. “We focus on treating the whole person—addressing not just their physical health, but also psychosocial and holistic well-being. At the end of the day, we help enable our clients to thrive and lead fulfilling, productive lives.”
MHC started its chain of sexual health clinics in May 2023 with its MHC- Ortigas in response to the growing HIV epidemic and rise in sexually transmitted infections in the Philippines. This was followed by its MHC-Pasay which was launched in September 2024.
MHC remains steadfast in its dedication to providing innovative and patient-centered care, reinforcing its role as a leader in sexual health services in the Philippines.
